Sign Up for Rather Text

We have three options for getting started with Rather Text. Toll-free and local options are new numbers that get assigned to you during this process, or you can bring your own landline.

• Toll-free

  An "800" number. There is no additional fee for choosing this option and is the option to choose if you want to get started immediately, as there are no other required steps to take after signing up (though we highly recommend going through a short verification process).

• Local

  A phone number with an area code that matches your local location. There is a one-time $15 fee when choosing this option and requires a little more information about your organization to be compliant with A2P 10DLC regulations. The point of this is to make sure that carriers and consumers have trust in the brands that are sending them messages, and deliverability remains high. Don't worry, we specialize in making this as easy as possible for you and will communicate next steps after signing up.

• Bring Your Own Landline

  If you already have a landline that does not currently have texting capabilities, you can use it with Rather Text! There will be a short verification process that we will work through with you after signing up. This is to ensure you own the phone number and it gets connected properly. There is no additional fee for bringing your own landline if it's a toll-free number. If it's a local number, a one-time $15 fee applies and we will be collecting a few more details to register your organization in compliance with A2P 10DLC.
